Work has always been a pleasure.

I’ve been privileged to have a career full of complex “difficult to do” challenges - in the UK and internationally:

turning round major problems or taking businesses into areas that are new to them

leading rapid change, performance improvement and transition to a “business as usual” state before the next “commando” mission

Most of my career has been with blue chip technology businesses - inter spaced with periods as an independent interim manager and consultant.

In a very diverse series of roles - global corporate to SME/SMB - I’ve led business units (to +37% PBIT), programmes (to £240m revenue benefit), projects (to £40m), bids (to $1bn/100% win rate) and negotiations (to £200m).

Business experience (typically client facing) includes outsource, managed services; infrastructure; projects; turnkey solutions; volume operations; consultancy; software/product development; business continuity; and service/repair operations.

Common outcomes have been substantial P&L/ROI improvement - increased revenues/customer base - increased customer and employee satisfaction - embedded continuous improvement - more with less - barriers converted to opportunities.

Work has taken me to all parts of the UK and around the world. I’ve lived in Germany and Turkey, enjoyed a year commuting to Hong Kong and much more.

I’ve met some great people - from dealing with Heads of State, Government Ministers and Corporate CEOs through to engaging the enthusiasm of individual and collective team members.
